RIYAD – The National Labor Observatory (NLO) revealed that the percentage of Saudiization in the private sector during the third quarter of 2021 rose to 23.59%, up 0.96% from the previous quarter, reported -was reported Thursday.

The observatory pointed out that the number of Saudis in the private sector, according to data from the General Social Insurance Organization, in the third quarter of 2021 stood at 1,826,875 subscribers, an increase of 3.41%, of which 65.06% men and 34.94% women. , according to the report.

The increase in the localization rate during the third quarter is a result of the efforts of the Saudi Fund for Human Resources Development (Hadaf) to develop and improve programs and initiatives to support the national workforce, where it has contributed to the employment of over 200,000 bisexual people. young people in private sector facilities in the first nine months of the year, the report continues.

The fund’s work strategy has also led to coordinate and strengthen efforts with partners from private sector institutions to enable Saudis to find jobs in the labor market, in addition to developing new qualitative programs that match the needs. and the demands of the labor market, issuing decisions by the Department of Human Resources and Social Development on the location of several jobs and economic activities in the labor market, according to the report.
