Madhes Chief Minister Lalbabu Raut said the government is serious about creating an enabling environment for businesses and industries to develop.

Speaking today at a program of the Saptari Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rajbiraj, the Chief Minister highlighted the role of the private sector in ensuring the growth of industries and businesses and the progress of the country as a whole and went on to say that the government is preparing to hold interactions with the industrial and commercial fraternity of the province to design a policy to promote the industries and enterprises of the province.

“We were not able to introduce our own provincial industry law earlier. But now that we have formulated the law, we are also preparing to introduce related regulations as well,” Raut said, adding that the law would guarantee security and concessions on energy consumption. and no strike provisions for industries.

Madhes Province Finance Minister, Shailendra Sah, briefed on the government’s plan to organize an investment-friendly conference to encourage the private sector. “The conference will be instrumental in developing plans that could promote industries and businesses in the province,” he said.

Sah informed about the preparation of the government to produce organic fertilizer in the country itself. “This organic fertilizer will be provided to farmers up to 75%,” he promised.
